Ow is not that great a businessman as what many have thought , he has limited capability to bring the company to next level. Not a first grade businessman !

They go into australia hotels market quite early...

After a few hotels ...think they stopped expanding...no more hotels addition

So their "chain" of hotels is countable ...

Based on latest listing, the public free float is around 56%. If correct, may not be easily swallowed through privatisation.

Father , son daughter , brothers , nephews all collectively own around 43%, excluding friendly parties and nominees.

Looking at the major shareholders, the family stake is below 40%. Of course, it must be much higher through proxies.

Last time I worked in a listed company. Every time AGM, some employees (who were also shareholders due to employee share scheme) were planted to vote Yes and asked designed questions:)

Chairman not serious in addressing issues raised by Shareholders. Only keen to listen to complements(even erroneous complements)crying

Correction : did not carry himself well , he should not have listed SL.

It did not reflect well on his image as Chair , he did not carry his well in public . If he only like questions that he like , then he should have listed SL in the first place. This is public company, not privately owned public company ! I really lost my respect for him after today AGM .

Yes, The chair lost his cool as in the past whenever he was unhappy with shareholders' questions. In fact, today he's quite condescending when he said shareholders who cheered Mano's comments were in Mano's fan club. Kudos to Mano for maintaining his cool throughout. Yes, the first questioner sound artificial and so beholdened to SL.
